Arrive today at Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan Province and renowned for its fine Spring like weather for all four seasons. It is named the 'City of eternal spring'. Upon arrival, visit Xishan (Western Hill) and take a cable car up to the Dragon Gate. Take a bird-eye view of the beautiful Dianchi Lake. Tonight enjoy a special ‘Healthy Medicine Dinner'. |

Morning drive to Shilin (Stone Forest), an extreme rare geological phenomenon composed by 200 acres of limestone pillars in different shapes. From a distance, all the pillars of stone resemble a forest. One of the formation looks like a beautiful lady carrying a baby, plus other fantastic forms. In the afternoon, visit Jiuxiang Scenic Area, famous for its underground canyons and caves. The Yincui Gorge is the lovers' paradise, the Grand Underground Valley, Male & Female Waterfall that has two falls side by side, the Fairy Field, the underground cave with stone forest hanging from the roof. On the way back to Kunming, visit the Colorful Yunnan Center. Dinner tonight is Yunnan favorite 'Crossing the bridge’ rice noodle. |

Morning fly to Dali, an ancient Capitol with numerous legendary stories wrote about it. Upon arrival, visit the famous and beautiful Cangshan Mountain. Take a cable car up to Cangshan Mountain National Park. The rugged gorges, cliffs, waterfalls, meadows, granite peaks, and virgin forests represent the majestic and beauty of Cangshan Mountain. From the top, have a bird eye view of the city of Dali and Erhai Lake. Take the cable car down and visit a local Bai village, enjoy their distinct heritage of Sandao (three phrases) tea and folk dance of the Bai People. Sandao tea represent the three phrases of human life, the difficult of the beginning of life, the happiness of mid life, and the ever memorable of later life. Afternoon visit the Bufferfly Spring. Then pass by the Three Pagodas Temple and arrive at the Dali Old City, with many magnificent towers, narrow streets, Foreigner Street, and historical monuments. |

Depart Dali and drive to Li Jiang – a beautiful city with many narrow waterways and canals. Upon arrival, visit old Dayan Town, well-known for its scientific layout and treasures of ancient Chinese architecture. Continue to Baisha Village, famous for an ancient Baisha Wall Painting from the Ming Dynasty. |

After breakfast, visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and take a cable car ride to the peak of over 4000 meter. The view is breath taking with the surrounding snow cape Mountains and scenery. Back down to Ganhaizi (a meadow), with the beautiful thirteen Peaks of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain at the back drop. Continue to White Water River. The water bed is make up with white marble thus becomes white. |

Morning drive to Zhongdian, also known as ‘Shangri-La’. The name ‘Shangri-La’ comes from a novel by an English writer, Hilton, in 1933. His book, the ‘Lost in Horizon’ mentioned a beautiful Mountain Range out of this world called ‘Shangri-La’. It was lately proven that this mountain Range in his book is actually Zhongdian. On the way, you will visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge, with the deeply cut cliffs by a rapidly water running deeper and deeper into the gorge. Continue onward and you will pass by the First Great Bend of the Yangtze River. The swift water from Jinshajiang flowed southward along the Hengduan Mountain Ranges and was forced to turn to the north. When the water reaches Shigu, it makes a near 180 degree turn and flowed further northward. It runs almost parallel to itself. Late afternoon visit a Tibetan family and enjoy an afternoon milk tea. |

Morning visits Songzangling Monastery, it was found in the 17th century during the reign of the Great Fifth Dalai Lama. This lamasery is the largest Tibetan Buddhist lamasery in Yunnan and one of the thirteen Tibetan monasteries in the Kangba Region. The temple contains many fine arts and treasures from the past. After lunch, take a ride to Napa Hai (Lake). This Lake exits in spring and summer when the snow melts from nearby mountains. Late fall and winter will become a large meadow that house the returning of the Black Neck Cranes. Fly back to Kunming in the evening. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for a night rest. |

Morning visit the Grand View Park. Inside is the three stories high pavilion with the longest poem of China with total 180 words. Continue to the Flower & Bird Market where hundreds of stalls not just selling flowers & birds; it sells many Yunnan artifacts, maggot, delicious local foods, and more. Afternoon transfer to airport and fly back home. |
